Jesse Appell 艾杰西 is an American comedian who has spent the last eight years in Beijing performing Chinese comedy onstage and on TV. He has over 2 million fans on Chinese social media platforms and has performed on Chinese knockoff versions of SNL and Last Comic Standing. As a Fulbright scholar, he researched traditional Xiangsheng comedy by apprenticing to master Ding Guangquan.
艾杰西是一名美国喜剧演员，在北京生活了八年，在舞台和电视上用中文表演脱口秀和喜剧。他在中国社交媒体平台上拥有超过200万粉丝，在《欢乐喜剧人》第六季中是颇受欢迎的参赛选手。作为富布赖特（Fulbright）学者，艾杰西曾拜师相声大师丁广泉研究传统相声。

LA Comedy Live presents The Expat Comedy Show — the first-ever LIVE comedy show this year to bring 5 expat comedians into one stage. The show will happen on Sunday, 24 October 2021, 8pm at the Esplanade Concert Hall.
With the fusion of new material and greatest hits from 5 of our best imported laughs, expect a hilarious, good laugh-out-loud fun as the comedians cover topics on living in HDB or tetris-like houses, fines, fines and more fines, relationship with Singaporeans and of course our Nation’s favourite – The Food Culture.
This show is suitable for both local and expat audiences that are keen to take on the point of view of an expat living in our Sunny Island, Singapore.
